Peisheng Xu Dept. of Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences South Carolina College of Pharmacy University of South Carolina Dr. Xu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences at the South Carolina College of Pharmacy, University of South Carolina. His research interests include cancer-targeted drug delivery, gene delivery, nanomedicine, and biomaterials. Dr. Xu received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Pharmaceutics at Purdue University. In 2012, Dr. Xu received the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s New Investigator Award. He also received the 2013 Breakthrough Rising Star award at the University of South Carolina.
