The resulting nanocarrier has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect and can be applied for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple sclerosis, Brain tumor, glioblastoma, neuroblastoma, Parkinson's disease, Epilepsy, neonatal hypoxic-ischemic, stroke, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Spinal cord injury, brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, frontotemporal dementia, etc.

Invention Description:

The present invention describes the preparation of a brain targeted cerium oxide nanoparticle (CeNP) and its application in treating central neuronal system diseases. The brain targeted CeNP (T-CeNP) can effectively pass the blood brain barrier and specifically target brain tissue and exhibit anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
