Dr. Nagarkatti is Chair of the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.  Her primary research interests include cancer immunology and immunotherapy, biodefense, immunopharmacology and immunotoxicology.  Dr. Nagarkatti received a Ph.D. from Defense R. & D. Establishment, Gwalior, India.
