Harry Ploehn

Harry J. Ploehn, PhD.
Chemical Engineering
University of South Carolina

Dr. Ploehn is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of South Carolina.  His research explores the relationships among structure, properties, processing, and performance of materials and processes dominated by phase interfaces, especially in nano-scopic and colloidal materials. His research group specializes in the use of light scattering techniques and atomic force microscopy for nano-particle characterization. Dr. Ploehn received his PhD. from Princeton University.
